Ethics & Sustainability
At Sea Oceanwear, we believe protecting the ocean starts with how we create. That’s why we partner with ethical suppliers like AS Colour, who share our commitment to quality, transparency, and sustainability at every stage of production.
Responsibly Made
All our current apparel is made using AS Colour garments, produced in ethically audited factories that meet internationally recognized standards for safe, fair, and lawful working conditions. AS Colour is a proud member of Amfori BSCI, ensuring fair wages, no child or forced labor, and responsible business practices.
Shifting to Custom, Ethical Production
As our brand grows, so does our responsibility. We’re in the process of transitioning to custom-designed apparel, where we will source and work directly with manufacturers who meet strict ethical and environmental standards. We’re committed to visiting and vetting these partners ourselves, ensuring full transparency and traceability across our supply chain.
Sustainable Materials
We prioritise the use of organic, recycled, and low-impact materials, reducing water waste and harmful chemical use. Many of our products are made with GOTS-certified organic cotton or OEKO-TEX® certified fabrics, meaning they're better for your skin and the sea.
Low-Impact Production
AS Colour follows a low-waste, responsible production model—from certified dyeing processes to minimal packaging. As we move into our own manufacturing processes, these same low-impact values will remain central.
Ocean-Minded Purpose
Everything we do is inspired by and for the ocean. From sustainable materials to slow fashion principles, we create timeless, functional pieces that last. We're also building community impact through future initiatives in ocean conservation, mental health awareness, and clean supply chains.
